Professor Diamond is an applied micro economist studying topics at the intersection of labor, public, and urban economics. She is the founder and faculty director of the Cities, Housing, and Society Lab at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Her work brings together big data and new empirical methods to evaluate and develop public policies impacting housing, cities, and inequality.
